This Privacy Policy is part of and incorporated into the Terms of Use governing the Henry Leutwyler website (http://www.henryleutwyler.com, the “Site”).  Please review the Terms of Use prior to using the Site.  Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the definitions provided in the Terms of Use.

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Site and information you submit to us via the Site.  This Privacy Policy describes the information collected from you when visiting the Site and how it may be used, including any further disclosure of such information to third parties.  We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time by updating this page/posting, with the new terms taking effect on the date of posting.  You can determine if any changes were made to this Privacy Policy by noting the date that the Privacy Policy was last updated.  By continuing to access the Site after we post any changes, you accept and agree to this Privacy Policy, as modified.

If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, do not access or use the Site.

What Information Do We Collect?

The Site may present you with the opportunity to provide personal information to us (such as your name, address, email, phone number, etc.).  It is always your choice, or the choice of anyone acting for you, whether to provide personal information.  Do not provide personal information about others without their permission.  By submitting any personal information about others, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so.

We collect some information automatically from visitors to the Site, such as through the use of “cookies” and other tracking mechanisms.  This information is collected regardless of whether you have registered with us in any way, and if you have not registered with us, the information we collect automatically may or may not be matched to you personally.  Specifically, we may collect at least the following:  The name and domain of the service provider through which you have obtained Internet access; the Internet address of the site from which you came to the Site; the date and time of your access; your computer’s IP address and information about its operating system, browser and host; and the pages you visit within the Site.  We may use third-party service providers to collect information.  We may use this information to help administer and troubleshoot our Site, to make it more useful and attractive to visitors, and for other purposes.  Your IP address may also be used to gather broad demographic information and in some cases to identify your household or you.

Our Use of Information

We may use your personal information to provide you with newsletters, updates, or other communications, or to respond to inquiries or requests for service or assistance.  We may use anonymous information gathered from the Site for the management and improvement of the Site and for other purposes.  We may send communication to you via service providers that we hire to support our business.  Messages that we send to you will generally contain instructions to enable you to opt-out of receiving some or all future communications from us.

In the event that we, or a significant portion of our assets, are acquired by another company, information about visitors to the Site, including any personal information that we have obtained, would likely be among the transferred assets.

We reserve the right to disclose all information collected via the Site, internally or to third parties, for any lawful purpose or to prevent harm to us or others.  For example and without limitation, in our discretion we may disclose information to government regulators, law enforcement authorities or alleged victims of identity theft.  We may dispose of information in our discretion without notice, subject to applicable law.

Note About Children’s Privacy Issues

We do not intend to and do not want to collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.  Any use of the Site by children under the age of 13 should be conducted under the supervision of that child’s parent or guardian.  Information should not be submitted to the Site by or about anyone under the age of 13 without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian.  We recommend that minors over the age of 13 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.
